Here’s another digital drawing I made. I feel more comfortable and familiar with this type of art now. It’s only a few weeks since I started practising digital painting, I enjoy it a lot and I’m looking forward to improve my skills.

Digital art
I started practising digital art recently. I’ve both tried digital drawing tablets and phone apps. Until now what I’ve found the easiest and most satisfying has been the phone apps. They seem simplified and I am more used to phones after all.
Here I painted an anime character. By doing this digitally I feel like the outcome is a lot more cleaner than traditional art. For this I used a free app called ibisPaint X.
Anime Stuff
Here I practised some different anime mouths. Anime expressions are known to be over-dramatic and exaggerated.
This is a posture-sketch of a japanese school girl outfit from behind. On the top I did Chinese calligraphy.
Here’s a smol grill from a post it note:D
Feelin’ Blue
I started this one a long time ago. Too often I don’t finish, but I decided to do a post anyway. Especially because it’s summer and this was associated with water.
My watercolor book is from “Grieg Design” It was around 5$, but the quality and number of papers have a higher value in my opinion. I’m very happy with it.
I used this watercolor palette from “Alf Bjercke” Not the cheapest option, but the colors have good quality and are highly pigmented. It has lasted a long time, but it’s expected from the price.
Then where I landed off was inking. “Uchida Yoko” is a Japanese brand with good quality. It’s highly pigmented, acid free, non-toxic, lightfast, photo safe and most importantly water-proof. It’s also rather cheap and long lasting. I use the 0.05 for most drawings. Especially when there is a lot of details.
South Park
This is one of the funniest shows I’ve ever watched. I’ve loved the show for years and watched all 21 seasons. On my blog I’ve posted drawings of other shows that i love, but South Park has to be my favorite one. I have drawn other drawings of South Park people like Kenny, and he’s my favorite character. I know that in one of the earlier season’s they were planning on removing Kenny. Im so glad they didn’t.
Here I’ve painted the main characters with watercolor, and I’ve inked with 0.05 fineliner. I use a Japanese brand called “UCHIDA YOKO CO.,LTD”. I really enjoy this brand cause it’s acid free, non-toxic. Lightfast, waterproof and photo safe. For other areas I’ve used a 0.5 fineliner that is fade proof. This pen isn’t as good as the thinner one, but it’s much cheaper. Most of the writing on the pen has faded (it’s supposed to be fade proof haha.) So I dont know the brand.
