I started this one a long time ago. Too often I don’t finish, but I decided to do a post anyway. Especially because it’s summer and this was associated with water.
My watercolor book is from “Grieg Design” It was around 5$, but the quality and number of papers have a higher value in my opinion. I’m very happy with it.

I used this watercolor palette from “Alf Bjercke” Not the cheapest option, but the colors have good quality and are highly pigmented. It has lasted a long time, but it’s expected from the price.

Then where I landed off was inking. “Uchida Yoko” is a Japanese brand with good quality. It’s highly pigmented, acid free, non-toxic, lightfast, photo safe and most importantly water-proof. It’s also rather cheap and long lasting. I use the 0.05 for most drawings. Especially when there is a lot of details.

Welcome to my art blog! My name is Kimmy, and I'm an art and graphic designer student. Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated by the world of art and have spent countless hours experimenting with different mediums and techniques. For me, art is not only a form of self-expression but also a way to connect with others and explore new perspectives.
On this blog, I'll be sharing my own artwork as well as exploring the work of other talented artists. I'll also be discussing art techniques, and sharing my thoughts on the role of art in society. I believe that art can be a powerful tool for raising awareness and inspiring change.
Thank you for joining me on this artistic journey. I hope you'll find inspiration and joy in the world of art, and I look forward to connecting with you through this blog.

You are welcome Kimmy. I love art and have lots on my walls. Art makes our houses brighter and fuller of life. Each picture allows us to see what our minds eye has in store from the Artist who created each one.

A very good drawing. Unfinished? Yes and no. I like the contrast between the blue “background and the B&W sketch. Well done.

This is so beautiful. I like what you did with the shells too. The different layers make it stand out while still complementing each other 🙂
